POLICY
Deposit - To reserve a trip, we require a deposit. Non-refundable after 30 days of deposit.
Final Payment - The remaining balance of the trip is due 90 days prior to the departure date. For reservations made within 90 days of the tour’s departure, final payment is due at time of booking.
Payment Methods - Bank transfer, check, cash or card. Card fee will be deducted by those paying cash.
Pricing - Prices listed are USD per person and are based on double occupancy. Single supplement can be applied when space allowed.
Forms - You will receive a packet when you hold your spot with a deposit. The forms need to be signed and returned as soon as possible to finalize your journey.
Cancellations - Please check out travel insurance on our travel resources page as it can cover expenses if allowed on policy. Travel Insurance is required.
Cancellation policy for international tours:
• If you must cancel, a deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE after 30 days of deposit.
Full refund, less deposit, will be given with at least 61 days notice.
No refund within 60 days of your tour
We reserve the right to cancel retreats with inadequate participant interest, in which case all money paid to Powerful Journeys will be refunded. Powerful Journeys CANNOT be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations. Do not purchase your airfare until we meet minimum required participants.
Additionally, Powerful Journeys reserves the right to decline or cancel a reservation should the individual’s health or behavior impede the welfare or enjoyment of other guests.
Limitations of Liability - All terms are outlined in your signed release of liability. Powerful Journeys is not liable for bodily injury or property damage as a result of (but not limited to): physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared; forces of nature; collisions with bicycles, pedestrians or automobiles, road conditions including or not limited to lack of shoulder and roadway surfaces affected by weather conditions; travel by plane, train, auto, boat, or other conveyance, or by bicycle, ski, horseback, foot, or other form of active or adventure travel; consumption of alcoholic beverages; civil unrest; terrorism; breakdown of equipment; high altitude; lack of or limited access to medical attention in remote locations; and the adequacy of medical attention once provided.
Powerful Journeys is also not liable for: expenses (e.g., meals, transportation, or hotel costs) that are not specified as included in the trip cost but may be required to get to or from a trip start or end. Powerful Journeys reserves the right to make route and hotel modifications as necessary to improve the quality of a trip or to accommodate the comfort and well-being of guests.
Guests grant Powerful Journeys permission to take photographs or film records of its trips for promotional and commercial use, without remuneration. The guest agrees to assign all right, title and interest they may have in or to any media in which their name or likeness might be used to Powerful Journeys. Also guests agree that Powerful Journeys may use any testimonials regarding services rendered for promotional and/or commercial purposes without any remuneration. Powerful Journeys photography within this website is copyrighted by Powerful Journeys and may not be reproduced without permission.
Privacy Policy - Powerful Journeys LLC will send an email newsletter to people who subscribe by submitting the required information in the newsletter signup form. The newsletters are sent out when we have something important to notify you about or have an incredible story to share, it may contain Powerful Journeys latest travel deals and dates, news, and active trip stories. Your contact information is not used for any other purpose and will not be supplied to any third party.
Cookies and Similar Technologies - Powerful Journeys web site uses use “cookies,” small text files that can be read by a web server in the domain that put the cookie on your hard drive. We may use cookies to store your preferences and settings; help with sign-in; provide targeted ads; and analyze site operations.
Mailing List - We never sell your address or private information. Powerful Journeys respects and values your privacy. If you are receiving multiple copies of our News letter, please contact us by phone or email.
Unsubscribe - We recognize the importance of providing you a choice. At any time, you may request to discontinue receiving these emails from us by simply replying to the email with the word “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject (upper case not required). All email offers that you receive from Powerful Journeys will inform you of how to decline receiving further email.
Security - Powerful Journeys has security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We use Hostinger as our platform and Stripe as our payment processor. We use the internationally accepted security system called SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) with 128 bit encryption to encrypt all credit card payments over the web. Credit card numbers are not stored or used for any other purpose and will never be supplied to a third party.
